I helped designed the cover for the new 26 annual. It is a little different than my original, but still looks ok. This magazine used to be under the same label as Decline and Road, but now the editors are making it a once a year deal.

Check out spomer's content on litter. He has interbike videos and all that. He will keep you entertained for awhile. C ya Jill
Thanks to everyone for being so supportive. The service was yesterday and my uncles, friends, and other family have really pulled together to make all of this a little easier. Good friends and family is what it is all about, makes you really really appreciate the time you have with them. All the flowers that have been sent have meant so much. I will take all the memories with me and bring a new fire to the table in my own conquests, for pops. Next year is dedicated to him.
I've been told that time heals all. For me, I went from the biggest high after winning worlds, to the lowest low, down in the gutter. My dad had a major heart attack last night , went into surgury for like 7 hrs, came out pretty good, and then it all ended this morning. I have nothing to say, so devestating. I am crying as I am writing this.He was the most important person in my life. I will miss him sooo much. Love you dad. Thanks for visiting my site.
The Memorial service will be held this Saturday, the 23rd of September 2006 at Forest Lawn at 1pm. 6701 30th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA.
If anyone has good pictures of pops please send them to me. I would really appreciate it!!
The thing about Clay Porter that a lot of people might not realize is that he is 22 years old and has filmed, edited, financed and produced 3 full length Mountain bike videos on his own. He is a one man army with vision and passion for what he does. I met Clay when we both were very new to the sport, and since then a lot has changed, but we are still very good friends. He is an asset to the sport of mountainbiking and is now travelling the World Cup circuit to give you the very best riding there is for his next film...
I am in Fuchl, Austria at the Red Bull training center. My original plan was to race in Schladming for the World Cup Final, then come here for some follow up tests. Instead I am getting a MRI and working on rehab.
Turns out that I did separate my shoulder. It is not as bad as it could have been, 1st degree with deep muscular and bone bruising. That means that the ligaments are torn a bit and that the joint where my collarbone and scapula??(not sure about the names)meet is swollen and the pressure in the joint is the painful bit. The blood inbetween is keeping it apart I guess, till the swelling goes down. It is really common in cycling, hockey, MX, etc apparently.
So, I knew nothing was super bad, but it takes time to heal, 3 weeks. Painful, but managable. Little future knowledge if you have a spill. As much as I hate going to doctors and think they are a scam, it is better to know what you have done, than to monkey around and make it worse. Especially with stuff that is easy to diagnose. c ya. jill
Dream team did it again. Sam Hill and Sabrina Jonnier took the wins today for the final round of World Cup Downhill racing.
Last night saw some new faces on the top of the podium. Cangrats to Kamil Tatarkovic and Fionn Griffiths!! Such happy faces, it was epic to see a couple of first timers win a 4x World Cup (Fionn has won 2 Downhill World Cups). Kamil came across the line both hands up, so stoked, ditched his bike, hands back up and was then tackled by his friends.
Downhill guys on flat pedals shredded this track!!. Kovarik had the fastest lap. The off camber flat turns killed the bmx guys and girls. I was at the top and could watch the whole track. Nearly everyone is riding the same line, so it was easy to compare. Racing will be all about getting out in front. Sun was out all day, so the turns will be slippery, unlike in the qualifier which had a bit of moisture left from the early rain.
Nothing like Snitzel and Pancake soup, mmm. Not a whole lot going on. I have been hiking the tracks and watching practice, also helping clay spot the fast guys to film. It rained all night so the dh track was a bit more slippery than yesterday, but it also dried out nicely. Minnaar has the sweetest new kit- Gold printing on yellow gear.
We were in Schladming last year for a World Cup round, tracks are the same as they were basically, the only difference this year is that it is nice and sunny, rather than snowing and freezing cold.
Well Prokop and I won the Jeep titles today, not without a battle though....
Michael Prokop is the fastest 4x mountain bike rider on the Planet right now. His acceleration and skills leave many people in awe, including myself. Most people see him on a bike, but not many know him as a person. He is a native of Prague, in the Czech Republic, so he is still a little shy with his English. Prokop would rather let his riding speak for itself, but unfortunately for him, I wanted people to know the person behind all the success.
Couldn't ask for a better location for this final round of the jeep series. Bever creek resort is as nice as it gets. It is a little more secluded than Vail, but the mountains and scenery are pretty similar.
