Swiss inspection
DH and 4x Course inspections today....
Steepest DH course of all time. Goes from steep to steeper with about 100,000 tight switchbacks, no rest, on the brakes the whole time, nowhere to pull over, some roots, some sticky mud, some fast dry dirt chutes, one line, hmm. So glad I don't have to race this course, scared me a lot. Just walking down took so much focus not to slip down the cliff. Turn skills and commitment will be vital. Not the safest set up, but will get better once ruts form in, I think. Few other things to look out for too
.
4x looks ok. Few more chances to pedal out of the start and on the middle of the track. There are some rocks placed in there to manuver, nothing super crazy though. Pretty basic track, not a whole lot on it. Top is normal dirt kinda steep, Bottom is a ground up asphalt road or something mixed with dirt and kinda flat with some jumps:). Should be fun to ride, good speeds, kinda rough, a rythm, corners a bit crumbley, we will have to wait and see how it goes. Nice long sprint to the end, which is good for racing.
