The rain held off for the final, so everyone had the same course conditions, although it showered in between Qualifying and Finals.

I had a nasty crash yesterday in practice, just pinning a slippery rock section, and I got out of shape and smacked a tree flat out. I was on the ground for a bit, I couldn't breath. I spent the night in hospital last night after getting some X-rays on my chest and back, as it turns out, nothing is broken, I have just separated /sprained the cartilage in a few of my ribs below my shoulder blade. Super painful rates pretty highly on the 'holy shit that hurts' meter.. should be right sooner rather than later.

Strobel had a good run, putting him in 10th, a killer result for my NW homie!

Delfsy cracked the top 10, scoring 9th. I new Mitch would have a result this year, good job mate.

The Camel (Julien Camelini) was racing after a nasty crash yesterday, i guess his shoulder got pretty messed up, nice tape job ay..

Steve our team Manager was back this weekend, after having a baby. It's always good to have steve at the races.

Gwinner was bummin'. He went down in his race run, I'm sure he would have done well if he hadn't have crashed. But that's racing. He killed it last week at St Anne, really impressive for his first World Cup, It's good to see some Americans back up there.

Brendog, 6th. He hasn't really put it together this year, so it was good to see him light one up.

Rando and Ameil are always so tight in the races, they always qualify right next to one another, and then they are tight in the final, pretty funny.

Mark Beumont, what a charger. He has had one of the toughest seasons this year, crashing, injury, and he has finally come full circle, Beumont finished 5th today, he's gotta be stoked.

Everyone is packing up and heading off to Whistler, Crankworx. Should be a blast.
