Great Moscow Circus

KATOOMBA, NSW
Great Moscow Circus is worldwide, but they are in Oz and came to our little town this week. We had massive wind storms the last 3 days, so they had to cancel a show, lowered the tent, took out the seating and speakers, nearly ready to pack everything up early. Luckily for us, the winds died down slightly yesterday, and they decided the show must go on. Amazing human acts. Few jaw droppers actually-acrobatics, contortionists, crazy wheels of Death, no nets....

I haven't seen a Cirque du Soleil, but bryn said this was better. Acrobats, Magic, Contortionists, juggler, Wheel of Death, Globe of death (3 motocross bikes in a globe), etc. No lions or tigers, and a few really annoying clowns were my only complaints:) I've included some youtube links. It's easier for you to see than for me to explian:) Check it out if you ever get the chance.

Later that night, we went to meet a friend for his birthday, and the Ring Leader was there having a few pints at our table. We were telling him about the show and asking questions, then 10 minutes later he didn't even remember that we were at the show. Guess 40 years of showbiz and some brews will do that to ya. Anyway, at least he was entertaining.

Someone tell me if these links don't work in America...
