"Great Outdoors" and "Bar to Bar"
Normally these two videos are my favorite motocross videos every year. And Great Outdoors- Destroyers, was no exception, awesome, you should see that one for sure- Stewart's perfect season and tight racing in the Lites class- all in HD. But Bar to Bar 2008 was a sub-par rendition of the Supercross season. It nearly killed me to have to write such a review as I love supercross so much. Maybe they just set the standard too high with the earlier versions...
"Have seen all the Bar to Bar DVD's since 2005, and this one let us down a bit. Riders and the racing are awesome, but there isn't enough of it. Mostly commentary, or interviews that aren't even edited in sinc with what is going on. I attended like 3 events and so much good stuff is missing. Understand it is a highlight reel, but I really wanted to see more racing, in this vid. Chad Reed raced with a broken scapula and damage to his lungs and still won a championship, he deserves a lot of credit!!! but his interviews are terrible and selfish. Anyway, maybe someone can talk to bar to bar guys and bring back Jamie Little to host. And send back in RC, and Stewart, and Alessi, maybe McGrath. '09 will be amazing if they go to HD and add a new commentator.... -Ivanna Shred"
